The multi-instrumentalist Mike Keneally is known as the guitarist for the late Frank Zappa band, his solo works, contribution for legends like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Devin Townsend and numerous others.
There are quite few multi role players who can sing, play guitar, keyboards, write and produce songs. But not many have exceptional skills to play for legendary artists like Frank Zappa band. Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Mike also is a true magician about composing supreme melodies and took listeners to his own musical planet.
Mike recently released his brand new album “The Thing That Knowledge Can’t Eat”. The album consists of 9 songs and lasts only 42minutes so it is not the most lengthy album he has ever done but they are not average guitar songs, there are full of ideas, characters and pure musical niceness.

Simon Philips, one of the world’s most popular drummers, has fascinated audiences worldwide over the years, performing with countless legends such as Jeff Beck, The Michael Schenker Group, The Who, and also fulfilling duties as the drummer of TOTO after the death of Jeff Porcaro.
Simon not only fascinates the world with his extraordinary drum techniques, but also displays his talent as an established composer, producer and recording engineer in the music industry. Recently, Simon has also built a new fan base in Japan as a member of the Hiromi Uehara Trio Project. Simon also leads a group of top-notch musicians, displaying his excellent techniques on the drums in a collection of some high quality hard fusion/jazz rock tunes. This project is known as PROTOCOL and they have just released their latest studio effort titled “Protocol III”.

Back in the 90s, guitar player Jeff Kollman of EDWIN DARE fascinated the rock fans with his unique style of a jazz/fusion taste blended with hard rock music. Jeff Kollman went on as a solo musician after working with EDWIN DARE, as well as forming COSMOSQUAD with drummer Shane Gaalaas, who is known for his work with big names such as MICHAEL SCHENKER and B’z. Jeff also joined THE BOMBASTIC MEATBATS, a project formed by Chad Smith from the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS.

Jeff Kollman talked to us about his recently released live album with THE BOMBASTIC MEATBATS “Live At The Baked Potato” and his new solo album “Silence In The Corridor”. Jeff also took time to tell us about some of his insights on music and playing guitar.
