JPXIはローポジションからハイポジションまで違和感なく、更なるプレイアビリティを追及したエクストラ・スリム・ネック・グリップが採用されており、フレットにはミディアム・ジャンボ・ステンレススティール・フレットを装備。
ボディ・スペックはBFRシリーズの特徴でもあるマホガニー・トーンブロックを仕込んだアルダー・バック/メイプル・トップ仕様で、JPXI専用カラーのOnix(オニキス)でフィニッシュされている。
